How a referral works
Ask the customer
Explain that Claim Pilot may be able to assess a possible third-party recovery route, and get the customer’s permission first.
Point them to Claim Pilot
The customer starts their own claim online and completes Claim Pilot onboarding in their own name.
We assess the matter
Claim Pilot reviews liability, evidence and suitability, and tells the customer what is needed.
We take it forward
Where the matter is accepted, Claim Pilot prepares, submits and follows up the claim.
When does a referral qualify?
A referral qualifies once the customer has completed onboarding, supplied the required information, Claim Pilot has accepted the matter for pursuit, and we have formally submitted the claim.
Sending us a lead, or the customer completing onboarding on its own, does not earn a referral fee.
Once it has qualified, the fee does not depend on recovery, insurer acceptance or the amount recovered. The full conditions are in the Referral Partner Programme Terms, which apply.
The referral fee and the payment timing are agreed in writing between Claim Pilot and the approved Referral Partner. Nothing on this page creates a fee amount or a payment date.
